Our spy photographers have caught the 2012 Ford Taurus SHO twin-turbo all-wheel drive family sedan, wearing only minimal clothing. Lack of confidentiality is probably due to big changes loom under the hood of the car. The current SHO Ford already offers a power of 365 healthy but want to beat the same 400 to power the car of the new generation arrives later this year.

We’re big fans of the SHO and 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V-6, and appointed the “instant energy ” engine when I was at the wheel. With the power of a V-8 engine and the economy of a V-6 (17 mpg city/25 mpg highway), the EcoBoost engine is perfectly suited for the SHO AWD and good standard six-speed automatic transmission. But do not complain of any additional power is added to the mix of powertrain.
According to our sources, the Taurus SHO 2012 is set to receive 35 extra horses, and judging by these pictures to be reformed to better differentiate it from the rest of the range of Taurus. A new grid network (with the Ford Blue Oval sneak on each side) is visible. The lights also seem to have been updated. A look through the mesh cammo this prototype, which appears thinner and weight to the door.
The lower air intake in the new model has also been redesigned and is lower in the fairing before version (major) gifts. The sides and rear exhaust and a rear spoiler that all parties to postpone. A 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle is also likely to change only offers. Fans can complain about the lack of a manual transmission, but for most buyers, a 6-speed automatic with downshift rev matching should provide a lot of fun.
